“Not something ordinary.”

That was the client’s brief.
No foam boards. No standard prints. No typical display materials.

They wanted something with weight, presence and character, something that feels as strong as the brand itself.

So for this project, we worked with aluminium sheet, transforming a cold, industrial material into a bold and intentional A-frame display.

From Raw Material to Brand Expression

It started as a flat piece of metal, rigid, minimal, almost emotionless.

But step by step, it became something more:
A physical expression of brand identity.

The process itself may sound straightforward, but it’s highly detail-driven:

✔ Aluminium sheet cutting
✔ Precision bending to form structure (with a central fold for added depth)
✔ Vinyl lettering produced with cutting plotter
✔ Careful hand application, letter by letter

Interestingly, the most challenging part wasn’t fabrication, it was the final step.

Where Precision Truly Matters

Applying the vinyl lettering requires full focus.

Alignment. Spacing. Air bubbles.
Every small detail directly affects the final finish.

It’s the kind of process where you naturally hold your breath while working, because even the slightest shift can break the visual balance.

The Final Result

The outcome was genuinely satisfying.

The natural coolness of aluminium, paired with the expressive quality of typography, creates a subtle contrast that feels both modern and intentional. Under light, the surface reflects softly, adding depth without being overwhelming.

It doesn’t try too hard, but it stands out.

Why It Works

✔ Ideal for brand displays, pop-ups, and visual merchandising

✔ Highly photogenic, details show beautifully in photos

✔ Naturally draws attention without being loud

If you’re building a brand and want something beyond the usual “look-and-forget” display materials, this combination of metal and typography offers a refined, lasting impression.

Sometimes, the right material makes all the difference.
